A designated space next to big street bins would be good. People do it anyways, most don’t have cars or access to get bulky stuff to the recycling centre. For those who can’t you can always apply to have them pick it up. But then, people in your street won’t be able to take it off their hands before they arrive, which is a shame. Why councils don’t see how they are judged on supplying the basics we pay for is beyond me. Get the money from somewhere else and bring our loos back for god sake. Must be horrible for pensioners scared to go out in the society they built for us.
The Citizen’s Advice Bureau also says that you can cancel the service – try doing that with council tax and you’ll go to jail.

Having a right to affect your own life is laid out by law – which is why many schools have councils. They are a great thing and should be universal.
