Yes, countless cities spend millions on streetlights that not only illuminate the ground but also the sky! Stupid design and management yes, but you foot the bill. It would be great to have a list of the cities that waste most energy, and pollute the night sky so they could be named and shamed into taking action.
Ahh but can it spot the culprits of light seen from the ground also? Lots of people now worried the night sky is being ruined by SpaceX.
