  1. Space Adventures have been in the game a long time now, but how many paying customers have they sent to space? Plus, the idea is about an agency not a broker or provider. Ie, somewhere you can see flights offered by multiple vendors.

  2. No flight list on Virgin Galactic or SpaceX or Blue Origin. In most cases, you would likely just be faced with a form where you give them money and they send you marketing materials about how good it would be – hit “FLY WITH US” an you won’t see any departures list or reviews from happy customers. Slowly slowly catch a monkey.

  3. Rocket Breaks claim to be a space travel agency – but nope, just a page full of marketing hype and no list of departures here. When will this finally happen for real?

  4. WOW. I want to go back to Rome and Egypt now, to see all the things I missed. This would be so much better than guided tours. Gonna be big. Yes, someone should start the company that rents them out and adds information to 3d maps of popular tourist spot – or better – important historical locations.

  5. With a credit card you could “hire” any car. Heh

  6. Avis and the rest (in link) could set up a system that doesn’t need staff. Just like you get those bicycle stands with bikes that take payment from your card. Instal those machines on the car and just use your card, then take it away. You could even pay more to drop it off wherever you want. Sort of like a taxi and car in one. Surpirsed the big chains don’t do this. No staff. Lots of customers. But yeah there is lots of competition. Just have a few cars at each airport under a branded sign. Might work.

  7. We are not a market, and not just do-gooders, we are doing good. for God.

  8. Smaller cheaper airports should do this. Wouldn’t take much for someone to make a site that pulls empty seats information and lists them by airport so folk can book one when they arrive for a random holiday.

  9. Looks like none of the main airlines discount chartered flights, which is a shame. Surprised they don’t go out of their way to sell empty seats, especially when they could just have an online booking terminal at the airport.

  10. Southwest Airlines let you choose your seat size before flying, which is probably what other US airlines should do.

  11. A London based design firm designed seats that could be adjusted to fit oversized passengers, but this just means making everyone pay for the gap in between. This doesn’t seem to solve the problem because now thin people will pay the price and overweight people will still splill into their allotted space, so agreed, someone needs to solve this problem still.

  12. In the UK, you can use this site to find a “hotelsitter”. Not sure if they work at the hotel or just turn up there.

  13. This exists, and this looks like a good one – though its only for the official museum owners to use, that’s silly, why can’t anyone make their own tour of places they visit?

  14. Great idea, Brighton Pavillion has an audio tour, they should put it online and in apps, so people can listen without visiting, it would serve as a great ad and encourage people to visit the only Palace no longer owned by the crown.

  15. trip advisor does this already https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g504148-d285167-r535575566-Alton_Towers_Theme_Park-Alton_Staffordshire_England.html

  16. AT Arena is a bit of a joke and scammy – as far as I know, there isn’t an app that does this properly.

  17. Yeah, most manufacturers call killer repellent, to make themselves feel better, there are bound to be countless natural ways to make them go away, but who would be sharing that info? Not poison manufacturers for sure.
