Ahh, great idea, existing babysitters / child minders should make partnerships with local hotels and make it a feature the hotel offers. Dunno why I didn’t think of this myself as I often wished for a day off from the kids when having a week off from work.
This exists, be aware cultural differences make it difficult to know how it will go, so keep these in mind when travelling and choosing your service/hotel.

In the UK, you can use this site to find a “hotelsitter”. Not sure if they work at the hotel or just turn up there.
