Space Adventures have been in the game a long time now, but how many paying customers have they sent to space? Plus, the idea is about an agency not a broker or provider. Ie, somewhere you can see flights offered by multiple vendors.
No flight list on Virgin Galactic or SpaceX or Blue Origin. In most cases, you would likely just be faced with a form where you give them money and they send you marketing materials about how good it would be – hit “FLY WITH US” an you won’t see any departures list or reviews from happy customers. Slowly slowly catch a monkey.
Thanks ESA. Search their site and they have a page about space travel agencies, and yep – it’s a kids school project about how it would/could be – which indicates they are not quite there yet. lol.
Rocket Breaks claim to be a space travel agency – but nope, just a page full of marketing hype and no list of departures here. When will this finally happen for real?
See the world differently
There are some truly remarkable things to see in this world. There are glistening, snow-peaked mountains, arid deserts, tropical jungles, frozen ice caps, tranquil beaches, crystal clear seas, in fact, there is so much going on in the world, you may even feel like you don... Read more
WOW. I want to go back to Rome and Egypt now, to see all the things I missed. This would be so much better than guided tours. Gonna be big. Yes, someone should start the company that rents them out and adds information to 3d maps of popular tourist spot – or better – important historical locations.
How Augmented Reality (AR) is Revolutionising the Travel Industry
If you forgot your key again and wish you could get into your home without it, you may be able to use your credit card to do so. Just keep in mind that this technique only works on doors that have a simple knob lock with a spring-latch or...
Avis and the rest (in link) could set up a system that doesn’t need staff. Just like you get those bicycle stands with bikes that take payment from your card. Instal those machines on the car and just use your card, then take it away. You could even pay more to drop it off wherever you want. Sort of like a taxi and car in one. Surpirsed the big chains don’t do this. No staff. Lots of customers. But yeah there is lots of competition. Just have a few cars at each airport under a branded sign. Might work.
Good idea but this maybe wouldn’t work as well with Christians, they believe charity is overrated and that “influencing” other cultures is a more effective way to get close to Jesus. Somehow.
The religious tourism market covers a broad range of tourism products, including pilgrimage trips, visiting sacred sites, church tourism, travel for worship and religious missions. While a large part of European residents are Christian, halal tourism has been growing in the last few years, as well a... Read more
Smaller cheaper airports should do this. Wouldn’t take much for someone to make a site that pulls empty seats information and lists them by airport so folk can book one when they arrive for a random holiday.
Looks like none of the main airlines discount chartered flights, which is a shame. Surprised they don’t go out of their way to sell empty seats, especially when they could just have an online booking terminal at the airport.
Turning up at the airport for cheap flights? - Air Travel Message Board - Tripadvisor
Answer 1 of 15: I'm going away over easter but I don't know where and I don't really mind.
Is it still true that I can just turn up at the airport and try and get a cancelled flight on the cheap? If it is where do I need to go when I'm at the...
Flying economy is difficult enough for the average passenger. Plus-sized passengers have it even worse. A few weeks ago I wrote about airlines with the least amount of leg room and it really opened my eyes to this fact. Luckily, not all airlines offer a terrible flying experience. Some of them offer... A London based design firm designed seats that could be adjusted to fit oversized passengers, but this just means making everyone pay for the gap in between. This doesn’t seem to solve the problem because now thin people will pay the price and overweight people will still splill into their allotted space, so agreed, someone needs to solve this problem still.
Transforming Airline Seats Adjust Width for Each Passenger
A London design firm has come up with the Transformer of airline seats that would allow an airline to adjust the width of the individual chairs between flights based on passenger needs.
This exists, be aware cultural differences make it difficult to know how it will go, so keep these in mind when travelling and choosing your service/hotel.
This exists, and this looks like a good one – though its only for the official museum owners to use, that’s silly, why can’t anyone make their own tour of places they visit?
Great idea, Brighton Pavillion has an audio tour, they should put it online and in apps, so people can listen without visiting, it would serve as a great ad and encourage people to visit the only Palace no longer owned by the crown.

Air Ticket Arena is the first fully automated platform, which matches unsold seats on scheduled flights with air travellers actively looking to travel on short notice.
Here's how it works:

Japan will do it first. Page 24 of this pdf gives some ideas on how AR can improve the travel sector.
After covid, I wonder how many families just immerse themselves in VR or AR rather than get out into the open and see new REAL things?
With a credit card you could “hire” any car. Heh

We are not a market, and not just do-gooders, we are doing good. for God.
I think more popular would be the existing mission trips that treat Christians to a self-indulgent break from life’s difficulties.
But if you can get there without hiking, it’s not really isolated.
ahhh covid
Bad idea for some people, it would drive me nuts. And does drive people nuts according to the experts.
a tonic or poison, depends on the individual I guess. This is worth a watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxQe9bPDW5E
There is this hotel that hangs over a cliff. This sort of thing would be amazing in a busy city.
Nice idea, or even pools that overhang the street, would be amazing on Broadway or in Vagas somewhere.

Southwest Airlines let you choose your seat size before flying, which is probably what other US airlines should do.

In the UK, you can use this site to find a “hotelsitter”. Not sure if they work at the hotel or just turn up there.

Just looked and I think this exists, I bet loads of people would create their own audio tours about their local attractions if they knew about it.

Amazing, you can even have a private party in the middle.
AT Arena is a bit of a joke and scammy – as far as I know, there isn’t an app that does this properly.
air ticket arena does this i think
Bidroom should do this, no reason why the airlines won’t give them the discount tickets to auction off.

It’s their world too…
Making them is easy. Would love to kit my entire garden with this setup.
Got these for the windowsill, highly recommend them.
