  9. There may be a major reason why we have never come across a consciousness without a body to reside in. And that may be, because mind is just a useful adaption that benefited many lifeforms during their evolution. Jury is still out though.

  11. Never heard of this idea before but yeah… since quantum theory is the most fundamental theory of matter that is currently available, it is a legitimate question to ask whether quantum theory can help us to understand consciousness. Relativity didn’t help with that.

    Could be good if you had math folk that wanna be like Jordan Peterson, Derren Brown, Bill Nye types who want to get a name for themselves. This is a thing already. Never seen anyone do it in the street though. Closest thing I saw was magicians.

    It’s a thing. I watched some students do some math tricks in the street. I found this on it, there are activities for math activists to do. People passionate about any subject should get out there and do it. We need more maths teachers anyways.

  15. Jon Ronson covers some interesting points on this in his book The Psychopath Test. Here he says many psychos are “very high-functioning people who excel in politics and business.” I reckon we could all name a few individuals who fit the bill.

  20. Check out this story: A patient died from cardiac arrest after being given (unknowingly) a placebo instead of an adrenaline shot by paramedics. Such actions are unethical and borderline criminal!
