I say we can know lots of things, and we can know them in lots of different ways – just ask people and most of them know how they know what they know. Even if philosophers say they don’t really know.
All your evidence about anything has to come through your mind – whether in the form of perception, the testimony of books and other people, or memory – and it is entirely consistent with everything you’re aware of that nothing at all exists except the inside of your mind.
Agreed, and there’s no real reason to rely on certainties – quantum fluctuations happen, shit happens, so what if its certain or nearly certain, you’re still gonna end up not knowing anything at all in the end.
We can, and usually the knowledge comes from the four pillars are (a) knowledge, (b) truth, (c) critical thinking, and (d) culture.
