    I get the point of this idea but surely there would be no objection to giving to children’s charities. Which are btw more important than animals and plants – REMEMBER.

  2. Fortunately Save the Children still accept one-off donations in cash. It makes the others seem a little ungrateful knowing they only want to know if you set them up with a continuous stream of funding from your bank. How the world has changed. Donate to savey, as we used to call it back in the day when they were the only charity shop in town.

  3. Most charities don’t have “opposing” charities. There is never a reason not to give to those less fortunate than yourself. Christian or not. Give to Oxfam they do great work and can be trusted always.

  4. I get it that kids are guided by their parents, but sometimes you hear of kids that have the get up and go to do good stuff all on their own. This charity thing the kid does by giving food to those that need it, is what reminds me always to respect young people, they are part of the world and more eager to fix the crap caused by those that came before them.
