Interesting – reminds me of “clicks to Hitler” which folk used to play a while back. You could have an app or I guess an AI that sees how related any 2 things are, via their social profiles or wiki article.
The Wiki Game, also known as the Wikipedia race, is a hypertextual game designed to work specifically with Wikipedia. It requires only a computer, Internet access, a web browser and (optionally) a time-keeping device to play.
I guess most public figures distance themselves from real people/fans on FB. I wonder if they are more than 6 degrees away from us all, and if so, if they try to add more degrees in between. Like a gated home, to keep the rabble out, and just real friends in.
Most bad recommendations on Amazon are due to gifts. They must have sussed this out by now, Just give me what others like me bought innit – its almost like bing algo runs amazon, awful.
Agreed. I buy physics books from Amazon, only it recommends science fiction gifts like starwars figures. I mean, this AI is thick as shit. It can’t even find books by the same author when it spams me with recommendations. Needs to be improved as people are getting sick of naff recommendations from amazon and netflicks, it defeats the object and hides more promising suggestions.
As far as social media housekeeping goes, maintaining your LinkedIn is the equivalent of cleaning the cutlery drawers – but is that reason enough not to?
Linkedin know its turned into a spam machine, they are just addicted to the advertising revenue. Probably beyond the point of return now that AI is likely to be tasked with only considering money, rather than making useful tools – like humans used to do.
I hate LinkedIn . I open it out of habit and accept everyone who adds me because I don’t know why I wouldn’t. There is no clear benefit to the social network. I’ve never met a recruiter on there. I’ve never gotten a job. The only messages I get are spam from offshore dev teams […]
I guess this will become part of the service – the priest closes your socials or sets them to family only, or keep live for others to post comments on. I guess for some like this company, its going to be a big part of the service, if people want it to be as they can grab some milestones and images to use in the farewel and give people a link to their relatives digital lives forever more.
FACEBOOK is on course to become a digital graveyard after around 30 million profiles became inactive after users died. When someone dies in the 21st century, a digital legacy is left behind because…

Lol, Trumpeters don’t get it.
OpenBook? You can still invest in it to make it happen!

Unless you were desperate for a job, why would you even use linkedin?

You could possibly automate this with IF THIS THEN THAT
I bet YouTube died inside when they realised they HAD to allow popular ad revenue channels to be set as inactive for dead creators.
Yep, I would pay someone to ensure FaceBook didn’t get to own me after death. Just to stick ads on my grave! Christ!!!

Would be a good service, better than being dumped in the digital graveyard with no pomp. Don’t wanna go there….
