Suppose it gets its position from GPS.
Then what?
No real need to have it built into the jacket, everyone should have a GPS beacon attached to them anyways.
A beacon, mirror, whistle and stobe light would be more useful. Why do you want to know where you are while stuck in a big ocean?
They are such a great idea. I can’t imagine going out without GPS. Floating around until you die isn’t a nice prospect, Yay for GPS.
