Rename words in physics like ‘spin’
Just give them a new name so people don’t think these particles are spinning. It makes science harder than it really is. There is no real need for something’s name to reflect the “real world” version of the word.

Just dropping this here as Lucid makes it very clear, as usual.
Electrons do not orbit,
Electrons do not spin,
We know not where they’re going,
We know not where they’ve been.
It’s the most suitable word IMO. It resembles the meaning of spin people already understand. From this article “”Spin is the total angular momentum, or intrinsic angular momentum, of a body. The spins of elementary particles are analogous to the spins of macroscopic bodies.”
It would be cool if electrons spun like these guys though.
