  20. No real need to have it built into the jacket, everyone should have a GPS beacon attached to them anyways.

  24. Nice idea but it’s not that simple, an estimated 76 million tons of CO2 are emitted annually as a result of desalination processes.

  25. The wallets look a bit naff and you need to know you are about to drop your cellphone into the water. You could just have a case that floats anytime. There are a few choices out there already.

  26. Plastic would be better than wood, which would rot after time. You can buy them on Amazon.

    Would love it if my phone floated. Better would be if it repelled water, so it didn’t matter if it got soaked in my back pocket whilst on my bike. Something like liquid glide would be a perfect coating they should use to seal phones.

  28. Great idea but just found this. “The main rock in South East England’s coastline is chalk. Chalk cannot be broken down into sand. The pebbles on Brighton’s Beach are mainly composed of flint. (Yes, the kind of flint that you can strike to make a fire). Flint’s a very useful substance in developing societies even if it doesn’t erode well into sand.” Oh well…
