Expensive research databases and paywalls can make writing a paper frustrating. This list of online journal databases will help you access what you need.
Would love this, around the square where I live, there is a hidden huge underground car park, a statue of soldiers that fell in Africa, the #i360 tower and just out to sea there is a huge array of wind turbines – each should have their own qr code I could use to find out more – oh and Oscar Wilde crashed his carriage out side my flat whilst looking for a, ahem, partner for the night/hour. History is everywhere so qr codes could help us from losing it.
Great idea, there are so many historic sites in the UK, each just needs a qr code to inform tourists and locals what history lies beneath their feet, even if it just linked to the Wikipedia page.
Shanghai's famous historic sites can be accessed with QR codes
Wow, didn’t realise this was a thing, and has been for a while – so yeah and relatives can instantly access a gallery of images of the deceased before they died, kind of a good idea I guess. “They can just upload the photos to the website and we can build their website for them,” Lori Miller says. “They give us a biography of their loved ones, and they can upload videos and backgrounds and music.”
QR Codes For Headstones Keep Dearly Departed Close
A couple in Philadelphia is reinventing gravesite memorials. Using the popular QR code technology, they’ve developed a business in which mourners can digitally connect to their loved ones with a scan of a smartphone.
Top answer on quora “YouTube announced publicly that they will show you a video that you already watched because it is likely that you will watch it again.” – but no reason why you can’t just tick a box to stop it suggesting the same video time and time again.
Why am I getting the same video suggestions I have already watched in YouTube? - Quora
Just realised thousands of people already voted for this – google isn’t bothering doing anything about it. Shame, as I don’t want to click the “not interested” button as that may discourage it from suggesting similar videos, just a no repeats button would do – thought they were clever enough to guess folk didn’t like repeats.
Watched videos keep coming up, how can I stop that? - YouTube Community
This vaccine is the peanut allergy cure many have been waiting for!
Scientists have been researching peanut tolerance as a way of treating peanut allergy for years.
Peanut allergy is inconveniencing at best and fatal at worse. A vaccine can change the lives of so many people.
Agreed, some rich patron should consolidate all these sites into a single resource hub. It would save students and scholars a lot of wasted time.
The “Robin Hood of Science” continues to provide 60+ million scientific papers to anyone in the world for free at https://sci-hub.tw
Great idea, raises funds for research and also gives Mericans something to spend their extra cash on.
I remember when a welsh student named a new mineral “welshite” but fukalite takes the biscuit.

Good idea, don’t think you can do it unless you can code. here’s the script someone sussed out.
