Using novel plasma reactors, researchers have shown that it is possible to extract key ingredients from Mars’ carbon dioxide-rich atmosphere to provide future astronauts with oxygen, fuel and fertiliser. This technological leap could make it viable for humans to live on Mars.
onMars.art is the world’s first galery dedicated to inspire generations with space exploration by showing Art made by NASA rover Perseverance on the red planet Mars.
Ahh, the famous cock and balls on mars. I remember it well. Fox covered it. On Reddit the caption of the wild photo read: ‘Mars Rover = $800m, Team to operate = $1bn. Drawing a penis on the surface of another planet = priceless.’
A team of astronomers and students are searching for NASA’s lost Apollo 10 lunar lander module called “Snoopy.” The 1969 lunar module never landed on the moon and is in deep space.
NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, determined that sand and rocks from a Mojave basalt mine are similar to the Martian surface. Now a company is marketing the Mars farming experience.
NASA has done it! Check out this mini reactor that was used to create oxygen on Mars.

Hmm, scientists could use plasma technology to create oxygen in Mars and other space colonies.
A great idea in theory, but it would take so much time and effort to create and sustain a breathable atmosphere on Mars.

Terraforming Mars would make starting a human colony on the planet so much easier.
This, and who knows what else is out there already. We should add to it.
Not sure if it is actually art but these guys claim the pics curiosity rover took are a form of art.
Looks like nature is doing fine – creating art and patterns for our viewing.
Heard of the “bored pilot”?

Maybe not for astronauts, but looks fun for kids.
Interesting…
Lol, and cook it with lasers!
They have GOT to get onboard with the REUSABLE aspect of modern spaceflight. Come on NASA, think ahead!
Ideas welcome…
not likely, it would cost too much to make it do 2 things. Maybe just make space stations out of old rocket parts that are left in space.
They make it ” as dead as we can make it” – nasa covered it.
You can buy the martian soil in their site’s shop https://www.themartiangarden.com/pn-shop-main Happy growing
This looked promising – but they didn’t get enough backers
