  2. in theory a good idea but as the linked to report shows, it confuses people and discourages them to get in the inner lane, as soon as they can.

  6. Bad idea – just use the police for what they are paid for – if Artificial Intelligence gets control of this it will be turned into a major revenue stream regardless of it it helps anybody. Be warned…

Would love this, around the square where I live, there is a hidden huge underground car park, a statue of soldiers that fell in Africa, the #i360 tower and just out to sea there is a huge array of wind turbines – each should have their own qr code I could use to find out more – oh and Oscar Wilde crashed his carriage out side my flat whilst looking for a, ahem, partner for the night/hour. History is everywhere so qr codes could help us from losing it.

  11. Great idea, there are so many historic sites in the UK, each just needs a qr code to inform tourists and locals what history lies beneath their feet, even if it just linked to the Wikipedia page.

Wow, didn’t realise this was a thing, and has been for a while – so yeah and relatives can instantly access a gallery of images of the deceased before they died, kind of a good idea I guess. “They can just upload the photos to the website and we can build their website for them,” Lori Miller says. “They give us a biography of their loved ones, and they can upload videos and backgrounds and music.”

  18. IdeaDrop is an ideas management system and they seem to be in the business of helping big firms to reward people for ideas that save them funds. Its a very good idea, though haven’t experienced the service.

  19. Virgin have an incentives programme. But someone should make a service or app that lets big firms sign up and send staff and the public to submit ideas that would save them money.
