Loading...Probing to see which asteroids are worth mining, using distant lasers
Point a laser at a big asteroid and see what sort of light comes off it! It could be full of gold, diamonds or other valuable materials that can be mined. That way you wouldn’t have to visit each one to see what its made of.
Or use the laser to defelct it into an orbit where we can mine it easier? Just an idea.
