Mental illness medicine that gives you a headache if you don’t take it
Many suicides are due to mentally ill people often stop taking their prescribed medication because they think they are better – or the drugs make it worse. Well, use another method to encourage them to keep taking it rather than falling iller, or worse. This would allow a doctor to inject them once a month and the antidote to getting headaches is the prescribed medication – yes not possible yet, and sounds harsh but if you lose someone you love, you may be wishing this existed already.
Ouch, sounds like you should lace it with opioids if you want to keep them taking it – then fix the addiction later – so yeah, awful idea, though I know you are trying to help and a likely upset with losing a friend. Keep strong.
NO, NO, NO – Forced treatment isn’t the answer – punishing them with pain for not complying is something only a sick NAZI would do.
Here’s the problem in a nutshell, but the answer isn’t to give them pain instead… “There really isn’t anything we can do. The only time she’s going to get help is if they put her in the hospital, and the only way they’ll put her in the hospital is if she’s a danger to self or others,”
