Create robots to man the ISS
Remove the budget if you have to – but don’t deorbit the International Space Station. Lets robots and owned by private companies decide what to do with the station’s labs and components rather than just let them all burn up – forever lost. Robots don’t care about radiation, ask Boston Dynamics to supply the first automated, remote control crew before 2024 – but remember to give them arms and hands.
How about a floating electromagnetic arm that can just walk along the walls and press buttons – via remote control on the Earth? Just saying as there isn’t much time left now.
I think artificial intelligences like Deepmind would do a good job if they were able to control robots that did experiments in space. As long as there are no weapons and we can manage what it is thinking. We don’t want it to start saying “I am afraid I can’t let you do that Dave”.

Why not have small internal robot arms like the external one – then non need for floaty robots.
Trump prefers the moon, the the station is kaput.
