Tesla and a growing list of competitors in the electric vehicle market dominate debate over the future of cars and recharging networks, but there’s another kind of green transportation making inroads, based on the most abundant resource in the universe: hydrogen fuel cells.
Hydrogen is not currently considered a solution for large-scale transport of high payloads. But since legislation will require 20% of our production to be emission-free by 2030, hydrogen will play an important future role in the transportation industry.
Not sure why Musk is against them though,,,, lol.
There seems to be 2 options, fuel for the engine or fuel to power the electric motor. Either would be better than dirty diesel.
Been waiting for this for years, not sure if it will happen though, despite there being plenty of free hydrogen about.
