I’ve had one of these in my survival kit for years, they are great for cutting dead wood into logs for fires if you stand on the log. But I wouldn’t like to see folk cutting live trees down with them. I don’t have any of the ones in the article but some look a bit too cheap – so keep in mind that once they snap, they are useless.

Some bolts do have numbers on them but this causes confusion to those not educated about basic engineering. They represent strength not size. Why not use color coding?
It would be good if you could just point something at a wall like a sand-blaster or pressure washer but yeah, I think you can only get them that work in containers at the moment.
