It simply isn’t medicine, and should be classified as such, regardless of how effective you think complementary medicine is. It’s a word thing, the words people use, matter.

It isn’t called alternative or even alternate medicine, it is an alternative to medicine, so it is correctly called complimentary medicine. It may or may not help, but it still gets the name medicine, urr, somehow.
I agreed. Alternative medicine describes any practice which aims to achieve the healing effects of medicine, but which lacks biological plausibility and is untested or untestable.
