Loading...Nothing really matters – We couldn’t do without zero
The progress of science has depended on it. When 0 was introduced it must have been thought odd, but mathematicians have a habit of fastening onto strange concepts which are proved useful much later. Without it we wouldn’t have made as much progress. But is zero a number?
Nice, and after 1 it is probably the most important and interesting number. Almost magical.
For those who don’t know – Yes, it is a number, it just has no value.
Good point. There are a few nice little videos on YT about this relatively recent invention. Can’t believe so many civilizations missed this when it was right under their noses all along. And will be the only thing left once time has had its way with us all.
