Loading...Lego CubeSat Kit – Create a small satellite from Lego and have it sent to space
The creators of Lego are always coming up with new ideas for stuff you can make and even competitions about ingenious ways kids and grown-ups can use their building blocks to make handy gadgets.
Because its now relatively cheap to send small educational payloads into low earth orbit, why not create a competition based around a Lego satellite kit – lets discover what all those inventive minds come up with and what they can discover about the world, and cosmos we live in!
Someone made a replica of one of those Dove satellites already. but kits would be good if you could get small cameras and sensors inside the thing.
I remember reading about this ages ago and found the article, not sure if it did actually fly though, anyone know?
