We need to stop cutting down trees – we also need to encourage farmers and land-owners, and even people with large gardens to plant more trees. So we need a charity that grows saplings and small trees then plants them wherever someone has room for them.
The Baltimore City Parks and Recreations Department has a regular tree giveaway for homes and businesses.
