Thousands of people around the world have been abused at the hands of Catholic church priests and other staff members. It is only fair for the church to set up a fund to compensate these victims.
As many as hundreds of thousands of victims have been abused by Catholic clergy over the years. The Vatican should compensate all of them, and those responsible should be prosecuted to the limit.
These churches in Canada have also launched a fund to compensate victims of abuse.
