  1. It’s not that simple, as in the picture above the wheelchair kid is at a disadvantage due to things he can’t control, rather than the amount of effort he puts into stretching to see.   2. Agreed, good idea. Here is an article that backs the idea up. Making it so everyone ends up with the same regardless of their effort or skills is unfair. I remember a Kurt Vonnegut, well Kilgore Trout story where ballet dancers were weighed down with weights to give rubbish dancers a fair chance of winning. Stupid.
