Sometimes great breakthroughs in science, music and art are generated by a collection of people, rather than just a single mind. Brian Eno calls this phenomenon, cenius. I like the idea, it explains lots of new movements in culture throughout the ages. Why did nobody think this idea up already? or am I missing something?
Good idea, never heard much about this before but I often thought that. This made me google it and here is a decent video of the guy explaining what he meant by the word/idea.

“Creativity Through Community” is surely overlooked when understanding how great breakthroughs happen. This link is worth the read for those interested in what Eno says.
