Oil spills, deforestation and ecological disasters are not done by corporations, they are done by negligent individuals who have the final say on whether to do or not do a particular project.These idiots should be put on a list so future generations know who trashed the earth for them – and let them decide what the punishment should be.
We should also have Environment Hall of Fame websites that name individuals involved in environmental conservation.
Naming and shaming individuals destroying the environment is a good start. However, they should be prosecuted and given the harshest sentences possible as a warning to others.
It’s irritating to imagine that only a few companies (and individuals) are responsible for some of the worst environmental crimes in the world.
This website has done it! They have a list of companies around the world that pollute the environment, the executives responsible, and their locations.
