Recent research has found that “renaming foods to make them sound more appealing resulted in an increase in the sale of vegetables in the school cafeteria by 27 per cent.”
Cultured meat, also called clean meat, synthetic meat or in vitro meat, is meat produced by in vitro cultivation of animal cells, instead of from slaughtered animals. Sure its not veggie, but because it is a form of cellular agriculture it can be cruelty-free – what God would have wanted – if only he had thought of it first!
hmmm… but is it ethical? “Generally speaking, the production of cultured meat is presented as environmentally friendly, because it is supposed to produce less GHG (which is a matter of controversy), consume less water and use less land (this point being obvious) in comparison to conventional meat production.”
