Would love this, around the square where I live, there is a hidden huge underground car park, a statue of soldiers that fell in Africa, the #i360 tower and just out to sea there is a huge array of wind turbines – each should have their own qr code I could use to find out more – oh and Oscar Wilde crashed his carriage out side my flat whilst looking for a, ahem, partner for the night/hour. History is everywhere so qr codes could help us from losing it.
Great idea, there are so many historic sites in the UK, each just needs a qr code to inform tourists and locals what history lies beneath their feet, even if it just linked to the Wikipedia page.
Wow, didn’t realise this was a thing, and has been for a while – so yeah and relatives can instantly access a gallery of images of the deceased before they died, kind of a good idea I guess. “They can just upload the photos to the website and we can build their website for them,” Lori Miller says. “They give us a biography of their loved ones, and they can upload videos and backgrounds and music.”
Googled it, omg they exist. kind of a good idea as it connects you to the person, hopefully not to their dead facebook profile either.
