A digital screen in the street that replaces local town maps. When you click on a building or an ad that businesses website takes over the screen and you can browse their products and buy them instantly, then get them delivered or go and pick them up.
Would be a great way for people to see what they can buy in town without having to walk through all the crowds and a good way for businesses to advertise their stuff and only pay for each click or purchase made from these digital maps.
For example click the building or ad for the Vapour Evolution store on this ‘digital ad map’ and Vapour Evolution’s website covers the screen, ready for you to start buying online…
Of course, it reverts back to a map of the town centre after a period of inactivity.
They have someithing similar already for travel info in Cardiff.
still just a concept but won’t be long til this idea comes to life in our cities. its a way to get advertising bucks, so just you try to stop it.
