Serves many of the basic instincts a happy hunter-gatherer has. Maybe it reduces large conflicts with smaller ones. Not sure, but a great idea nevertheless. (not American football, with all that armoury and ego)
Tribalism, not always a bad thing, but gets blamed for much of today’s problems. I mean starting wars should be as easy as it used to be, otherwise the bad guy is allowed to win.
Could be the cause of more wars, lets see.
