Get rid of national cup competitions in football
Football players have been complaining about a congested match calendar. Eliminating national cup competitions, like the League Cup and FA Cup in England, can help reduce fixture congestion and improve player welfare








FIFA and other football governing bodies should introduce annual limits on the number of games a player can play.
A more creative solution is to introduce an incomplete round-robin format, similar to the current league system used in the UEFA Champions League.
How about allowing top division teams to field youth academies in cup competitions?
France has already done it!
Several clubs might actually support this! Cup competitions in most countries have become less prestigious and less financially rewarding than other top competitions.
Cup competitions may lack prestige for big clubs, but they are financially crucial for smaller clubs, particularly in lower leagues.
