Sounds like fun for a prank but in the UK the police started placing flat fake police cars on the side of motorways – and yes, the effect was disastrous, people who had accidents or needed help, ran up to them and realised there was no cop there at all. So there you go, coppers think its their job to be a threat to people rather than a service to keep them safe.
