    Don’t know why they don’t do this already, especially with some modern plastic that isn’t bad for the environment. There are so many benefits to vac packing.

    As above, so below. They vacuum pack food for astronauts, which should be a clue as to why we should do it in the high-street. Actually SpaceX are looking for a packaging expert currently.

    Agreed. I have been saying this for ages, even to shop owners. Why? Because most vacuum sealed foods will last in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks, which is much longer than the typical 1-3 days food will last when stored conventionally in a refrigerator.
