Loading...Ego giving – Encourage successful rappers to become show-off philanthropists
Rappers and celebrities are often showing off that they have got heaps of money – whilst claiming to be in touch with the “street”. Why can’t they take a leaf out of Bill Gates’ book and put their money where their mouth is.
P.Diddy has raised millions of dollars for New York schools and children suffering from HIV and AIDS in the 2003 New York Marathon. It would be great to see others out do him so that giving became an ego-feeder as well as a way to raise funds for education and health causes.
Agreed, they need a site where they can try to get to the top of the list, like a hit parade or top of the pops – not one of them would like to sit beneath George Micheal or Bill Gates.
They have a fair bit of catching up to do, to be fair. Pop stars may be better at distributing wealth than politicians. But yeah, a site that lets them bid highest to be at the top would serve their egos and publicity requirements all in one go. Does a site like this already exist?
Someone pitch these guys against each other to create a bidding war.
