“Broken” homes is the wrong way of looking at it, probably coined by Christians with an ulterior motive.
People/mammals/animals/life always got together, reproduced and then continued in their own directions.
Happy divorce ceremonies would be just a nice way to say “Goodbye, we enjoyed most of it, but you only get one life and we both want to do new things.”
