China launched a mobile app to let you know if you have had “close contact” with the coronavirus. Users can scan a QR code with mobile apps, such as, Alipay or WeChat to find out if they are at risk based on their proximity to someone who has been infected or is suspected of infection.
Not sure if they sell your info to Facebook yet. But they sure do admit they use your info for all and everything – as long as they can’t identify who you are, they think that’s ok. We will be paying for this pandemic for a long time to come.

I wouldn’t download it, especially if I was in China, or in 1984.

I guess lots of people are working on this idea. The reality is that we have apps for malaria and others, just not Coronavirus yet.
