Didn’t realise you just drove past the birthplace of the Beatles or the venue of their first gig? This app would flag up a notification and compile an always changing playlist of songs relevant to your current location.
It could even be developed to automatically scrape links and content from youtube, SoundCloud and elsewhere so you could select to listen to local comedy or spoken word history lessons, so you get a more informed experience of each place you visit throughout your life.
Someone clever should do a mashup between this site https://musicmap.global/country/GB or last.fm and GPS so the app just played music from bands you like, as you drive past their town. Ace for those who travel lots or drive for a living.
