Loading...Deep street litter bins
I saw rubbish and recycling bins abroad that are 3 times deeper than the part you see in the street.
They just collect it with a truck and empty it. 3 Times more volume for the same space on the surface so 3 times less often they need to come and collect the rubbish – why don’t we do that here?
How things have changed since health and safety nazis took over.
Amazing idea didn’t realise they exist. There are loads of ways it could be done here in the UK, even if it’s just a case of the recycling truck picking it up and emptying the super deep cylinder as usual.
Maybe not new but new to Cambridge though.
Not a new idea but one that needs to be considered when making new estates. These guys make them already, as did the Romans.
