Weird, the information is out there and most manufacturers list ingredients about their products, why supermarket chains don’t list this stuff is a mystery, its the most important thing about the product. Currently I have to cross-reference everything with vegan sites like https://www.vegansociety.com/resources/lifestyle/shopping/lists-vegan-items-uk-supermarkets.

  6. These refrigerators can suggest meals to make, but don’t yet have the ability to cross-reference what ingredients are in the food from qr codes or barcodes, the time is coming though.

  7. And worse is those who use their trolley to hold their place in the line while they go off for more shopping. So infuriating I just pushed a trolley out of the queue once and denied doing it when she came back. Silly cow.

  9. theres a half-hearted attempt by Sainsbury’s here, but why no device to do it at the front of the store? Get with it, it would save people so much time and make you more sales via suggested items

  11. Not going to happen but good idea – they make sure you don’t have anywhere to off-load unwanted shopping near the tills. And staff know to give you a dirty look as if you are creating more work for someone. Bad manners in the UK, not sure if its the same everywhere.
