They should do this already. For Atlantic hurricanes, there is a list of male and female names which are used on a six-year rotation. It could be updated to include names of benefactors that want to help for a bit of recognition.

Like it, Hurricane Bezoz or Gates for example. But it reminded me of this I saw recently. Silly names…. which wouldn’t catch on because its a bit insensitive to the vicitms.
