Theres an app for that… well no there isn’t really. This just uses reverse image search too. The original idea would be good as an app though, you upload your pic and it uses google’s database to bring back the name of the person or character in the pic – even if it just gives you a handful of possibles you could search to id the right person. I would love to find the name of this guy I took a photo of once, but ahh, well, I guess it wasn’t supposed to happen.
You can do reverse image search on a phone too.
You could use a reverse image search, but yeah and app would be handy for this.
Upload a picture
On your computer, open a web browser, like Chrome or Safari.
Go to Google Images.
Click Search by image Search by image.
Click Upload an image and then Choose file or Browse.
Select a picture from your computer.
Click Open or Choose.
